Goldenrod Update

Construction review meetings are being held as construction moves forward. . The official IT Implementation Kick-Off meeting was held on March 28th. IT Progress meetings are to start on April 10th, 2008.

As of today April 29th the following dates were given to the College by the managing contractor and college facilities

Internal cabling for data/voice is to begin on May 6, 2008

May 20, 2008 IT can expect to get access into the MDF/IDF closets for rack installation. The infrastructure installation is expected to start around the end of June 2008.

(the actual campus to campus communication date is to be determined based upon the construction timeline of conduit from the campus into the building)

The estimated audio visual installation date is July 28. August 1st is the drop dead date to start AV implementation. There are still other construction factors that will be reviewed since the AV dates are important.

The outside conduit path has been reviewed and the timeline is expected to be given the second week in May.

The client move in has been anticipated for fall. This is also being reviewed and could change based on construction timeline.
